Opportunities to serve

 Serving

We consider serving the Lord a privilege and would like to make it as smooth as possible for you to serve Him here at Calvary Chapel Red Bluff. Below we have listed some current opportunities to serve our church and the answers to a few of the most frequently asked questions for those who are interested in serving.

  • Serving in Children’s ministry can be anything from teaching to monitoring the halls! Our servants help our children’s ministry stay safe and create an atmosphere for children to learn more about Jesus!

  • Our ushers/ greeters are the friendly faces that help us to feel welcome each service! Ushers may assist in helping families find seats during full services or be a friendly face that can direct new families around the church.

  • A lot goes on behind the scenes each service! We have many hands helping everything run smoothly. From transitioning slides during worship to running the sound board, you don’t have to have experience to lend a helping hand.

  • Friendly faces at the connection counter not only greet those attending our services, but help keep us connected to what’s going on at church. Servants at the counter may also help with purchases at our bookshop!

  • We are blessed to have a community with a heart for musical worship. If you have a gifting with a musical instrument or singing and would like to serve as a part of our team, we would love to connect with you!

  • Do you love gardening or have a green thumb? Our school garden needs some extra hands and tending!

  • We are so thankful to have such beautiful grounds surrounding our church! We can always use some extra hands who love planting, weeding, or brainstorming how to make our grounds even better!

  • Who doesn’t love a warm cup of coffee in the morning? Our coffee bar has been the place where you can go to get something sweet or a refreshment during service. Servants can help those attending get what they need, keep the area clean, and be a friendly face as they fill their cup!

  • We are so blessed to have a building where we can serve the Lord and meet regularly. We strive to keep our church home inviting by cleaning and sanitizing our spaces. We can always use some extra hands to assist in keeping everything nice and tidy!

  • We have been so blessed to have congregants who desire to fellowship outside of our church building. These home fellowships have been pivotal in our desire to love others and make disciples. We are always open and in need of more individuals who have this same desire and who would be willing to open their home to a fellowship.

  • Servants who are gifted in maintenance can help us maintain our grounds by fixing or repairing broken fixtures or anything that may need extra tending to.

  • Both our women’s and men’s ministry offer multiple opportunities for leadership. Individuals who are gifted in teaching can lead a discipleship group within these ministries.

  • Each year we offer multiple opportunities for discipleship groups to meet. Some of these include our marriage, parenting, and foundations groups. Within these discipleships, we will break out into small groups and discuss the session. If you are gifted in teaching and love leading discussions, we would love to have start the conversation about leading one of our small groups!

  • CCRB's Real Impact team was built on the desire to inform, equip, alert, and mobilize the church body regarding duties toward the community. Their main goal is to provide accurate and pertinent information on moral issues. Learn more at their page under "Our Ministries."
